After earning her undergraduate degree, she went on to complete medical school at UNC Chapel Hill and her rural Family Medicine residency through MAHEC Boone. Long before beginning her medical journey, Dr. Stevens was passionate about community involvement, food insecurity, and preventive care—values that continue to guide her practice today. In addition to full-scope family medicine, she has specialized training in women’s health. Dr. Stevens lives in Ashe County with her husband, Will, and their dog, Sam. Outside the clinic, she enjoys tending her vegetable garden, reading, hiking, and trail running.
