Our name, Seven Peaks, is inspired by the seven northern summits of northwest North Carolina—Howard Knob, Elk Knob, Snake Mountain, Three Top Mountain, Phoenix Mountain, Paddy Mountain, and Mount Jefferson. These peaks, part of the Amphibolite Mountains, are known for their nutrient-rich soil that nurtures a diverse array of rare flora and fauna found nowhere else in the world.
We see this natural richness as a powerful metaphor for the culture and resilience of the Ashe County community. Just as the land supports life in unique and beautiful ways, we believe this community fosters strength, connection, and growth. This shared spirit is what brought our team together and inspired us to establish Seven Peaks Family Medicine—a place rooted in care, community, and the values that make this region so special.
